“Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” - Psalm 34:8

Psalm 34 is an invitation from King David.  An invitation to experience the goodness of God. King David was fleeing at the time he wrote this Psalm and God again helped him escape troubles.  (1 Samuel 21:10-15) His writings urge us to call on God, to come close, find refuge in Him.  Once we experience just a taste of his goodness, we discover a God who is good and kind.  A God  who cares.  A God who rescues.  We just need to try.  So come close and taste the goodness of our Heavenly Father. 

We pray that as you use this straw you are reminded of God’s invitation to us to draw close to Him.  We serve a God who always hears and acts on behalf of those who love him.  So come close and taste and see the Lord’s goodness because he is our Living Water.
