“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished in the day when Christ Jesus returns.” - Philippians 1:6

The good work began the moment you said yes to Jesus. You were born again, made new, and now HE does the work IN you. God through the power of the Holy Spirit will continue to transform your life to be more and more like Christ every day until the day you go to be with him in Heaven or he returns.

While we are made right by the cross, we are saved, God is not finished with us until Heaven comes. Often times in the Christian walk we feel incomplete or at we fall short, we get discouraged that we aren’t enough. The reality is, we aren’t enough but by the grace of God the Holy Spirit fills us, works and transforms each day to be more complete in the Savior.

So rest in this promised. Be reminded. That the Lord who started the good work for you by dying on the cross will continue to work in you. He’s not finished yet. Yet. We love that word yet. One day we will be complete in him. What a wonderful truth that is.
